Range Top: What You Need: 1 tablespoon margarine or butter; 1-2/3 cups
water. 1. In a large skillet, combine rice mix, special seasonings,
water and margarine or butter; bring to a boil. 2. Cover and reduce heat
to low. Simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 3
minutes before serving. 2 cups prepared. Microwave: In 2-quart
microwaveable bowl, combine rice mix, special seasonings, 2-1/2 cups
water and 1 tablespoon of margarine or butter. Microwave uncovered, at
high 25-28 minutes or until white rice is tender. Let stand 3-5 minutes
before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat:
Follow Range Top or Microwave directions, except omit margarine or any
added oil. Fat reduced to 0.5 g from 6 g per serving, with saturated fat
reduced to 0 g from 1 g and trans fat reduced to 0 g from 1 g per
serving. 5 calories from fat per serving.
